Bowling and Breadsticks

We went bowling with our friends, the Tapias and Harbisons. We went to Fat Cats and The Pizza Factory. They have the YUMMIEST breadsticks! They are huge and full of deliciousness!

Apparently Lilly didn't approve of them!

Lilly also loved all of the arcade games. She takes after her mom and was drawn to Skeeball!

We had so much fun and really need to do it again! Soon!

Time for a Change

I didn't realize how bad and uneven my hair had gotten!!! It was definitely time for a change! It was another drastic change, and it took some getting used to! I love it now and am glad I cut it!!!

Camping

Way back in August, we went camping with Trevor's family. I was not looking forward to going camping with a 1-year-old, BUT I'm glad we did because we had so much fun!

Lilly was resting up on the way there:

Joni was in her pack-n-play, and both Lilly and Connor wanted in. They soon realized it wasn't all that fun!!!

We were going to float down the river, but the tubes we had were to little and the river was too low!

St. George

My parents decided to go on a golf trip to St. George over Labor Day weekend. I went ahead and invited myself and my family to go with them! :) One of my dad's friends had a heart attack the week of and everyone else decided not to go. So it ended up just being us. We had SO MUCH FUN! We drove down early Friday morning, and Trevor and my dad went golfing while Lilly, my mom, and I went shopping! We ate dinner and my mom and I went to see Tarzan at the Tuachan Theater. It was good, but I had just seen Lion King 3 days before, so the talent was a little different!!! It was still a fun play to see. Saturday we did more shopping and golfing. We decided to go swimming that night. Lilly loved it because there was a little pool just her size! She didn't have to be held or trapped in a flotation device (which she hates!) After Lilly went to bed, we played a card game called Canasta. Sunday we did some more swimming and Canasta playing. Monday we went to Zion's on our way home. We only did two little hikes because we didn't want to get home too late! It was so nice to get away for the weekend. Thanks to my mom and dad for letting us tag along with them!

Visitors from Cali

We were lucky enough to have my sister-in-law Tiona and her son Carter come stay with us for a week! Tiona's husband, Trent, was going to Scout Camp for a week, and she decided she would drive up here for a visit. Lilly and Carter are only 3 months apart, so they LOVE spending time together! They played so hard during the day that there wasn't even a fight when it was time for naps or bed! When the kids went to bed at night, Tiona and I went straight to work! We have both been wanting to make a table tent. So we thought this would be good motivation. We worked well into the wee hours of the morning sewing, talking, and laughing! Crazy things happen after midnight!!! The tents are not completed, but close! I can't wait to post pics of the finished product! Enough talking, here are some pics from our fun filled week.

We always have to have a bath pic:

Climbing the hill at the park:

Very intrigued!

They spent hours playing on the balcony, sometimes throwing things to the dogs!!!

Pic with Grandma and Grandpa Foust. (This is the best we could get with 4 kids and 2 adults! I think it turned out pretty good!)

Great Grandma and Grandpa Noble:

Carter is so funny! He always has to have something in his mouth and in each hand!

On the slide with Grandma Foust

With Grandpa Foust at Uncle Landon's Football game. It was SOOOO hot if you can't tell by the red-faced ornery kids!
These are just a few of the pics that were taken! We had so much fun and hope to be able to see them again soon! Daddy hopes that Uncle Trent will be able to make it next time, and so do we!

S'More Please!

We love going up Mueller Park Canyon and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Unfortunately, we only made it up once this year! It was a lot of fun though! I wish I would have taken pictures of the s'mores because they are THE BEST in the WHOLE WORLD! We use the Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies instead of graham crackers and chocolate. This time we added peanut butter, oh I was in heaven! They are even better with peanut butter! Here are some pics of the cute kids that were with us!
