Teacher Appreciation Week!

This last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and our First Grade program. On Monday, 2 of my wonderful mother/grandmother helpers decorated my door, Tuesday was bring a flower for your teacher day, Wednesday was bring a school supply to your teacher day, Thursday was bring a thank you note to your teacher day, and on Friday the PTA gave us a HUGE box full of food and gift certificates. It was such a fun week and I received so many wonderful gifts! First graders (and their parents) are so cute! On Thursday was our Under the Sea program. We did a singing program all about the ocean. Jaclyn and I planned and put together the whole thing. Another teacher and her students were in it with us, but we did most of the work. It turned out really great. The kids were so cute and so excited to perform for their parents. It was a long week, but very fun! I will have to add some pictures when I get them. This was one of the weeks that I REALLY love being a teacher!! Also, Trevor starts his job tomorrow!! I am so excited for him! We have also started looking for houses!  I am definitely ready to move on!! Happy Monday, I hope you all have a fabulous week!!

Pathetic!!!!

The first pathetic item is that I am addicted to this blog and it is STILL under construction. Thanks for your patience!

The second pathetic item is that it is May 1st and I had to scrape snow off my car this morning!! It snowed 23 inches in Snowbird! It was also so cold today that we had inside recess!! The other pathetic part of this is that it was in the 80's on Monday and Tuesday!!! What's that you say, we are experiencing global warming?!?!?!
