Dogs

Here are some pictures of the dogs. Poor things have been put on the back burner since Lilly arrived!!! So I thought I should post some pics of them! Shanna brought her dog, Reese, over the other day to meet her cousins. Reese was a little scared of the two big dogs! Lilly, however, LOVES dogs of any shape and size! Roxy likes to lick Lilly's face and she doesn't mind one bit!

Lucifer shaking:

Good dogs!

Lilly enjoying the dogs!

Cement

So Trevor has been building a deck for my parents. He poured some cement last week and we put Lilly's handprint and footprint in it! How cute!

Look at that cute chubby little foot!

Here's the handprint, definitely looks like she's enjoying it!

Laura Ashley Dress

Oh, she's wearing her Laura Ashley dress. (That's a joke from the movie Troop Beverly Hills). My sister gave Lilly this dress and the joke is with her! So this probably only makes sense to her! The rest of you can just enjoy the cute pictures!

Have to have a tongue shot!

Cute ruffle bum tights!

Jason and Jody

Trevor grew up in Washington and has a best friend, Jason, who still lives there. Jason married Jody, and we have not seen them since their wedding almost 4 years ago!!! They came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had a BLAST!

Here are two pictures of Lilly hanging out!

We went down to Temple Square and the Conference Center. Here we are on the roof of the Conference Center:
Friday night we went to the BYU/USU game. I did not take any pictures, but it was fun! We are obviously USU fans, and it was at the BYU stadium, so it was interesting!!! My dad and sister also came. Lilly stayed home with my mom and Jody went and hung out with her brothers.

We went on a hike. It was so pretty! I love the Fall colors in Utah! Lilly LOVED it! She was laughing and smiling the whole time!
Here she is with dad:

We also played A LOT of Wii and ate a lot of Melons! Jason and Jody visited family in Green River, UT before they came our way, so they brought us a ton of YUMMY melons! We had a lot of fun just hanging out and being silly, we hope they did too!

Carrots

There are a few things I have been wanting to blog about, and haven't, so I will be playing catch up for the next few posts.

We fed Lilly carrots a few weeks ago. At first she seemed ok.

Trying to decide if she likes it or not.

Still thinking about it.

Then shutters in disgust!
I wasn't able to capture a picture, but she started gagging and dry heaving! She was acting like we were trying to poison her! We tried feeding her carrots a few other times, and she does the same thing! She will now just stick her tongue all the way out so the food doesn't go in her mouth! Funny little girl! We have also fed her yellow squash and she did MUCH better with that! Next is Sweet Potatoes!

Busy, but FUN weekend!

My wonderful Great-Aunt Della turned 100 on Thursday the 8th! She was featured on the Today Show on Willard Scott's Birthday announcements! She was so excited to be on there, it has always been her dream! On Friday we planned a BIG party for her. It was held at a hall at St. Vincent's. Over 200 people were invited! My sister's friend, Mike (Zog), has a friend who owns a limo business. He drives around all the Jazz players! Anyway, he hooked us up with the biggest limo in Utah! It picked up our sweet Aunt Della and her daughter, Patti. Then it picked up another great-aunt of ours, Rosie, and her 105-year-old mom! My sister and I decided there was all the room and only 4 people to fill it, so we hopped in!!! The night was great! There were a TON of people and PLENTY of delicious food!!! We showed a DVD of pictures of her life. CH. 2 News showed up and interviewed her (then lied and said they would air it, but didn't!)!!!! We all watched the 10:00 clock news to see her, but it never came on, so then we went home!

One of my former students, Nate, invited my to his baptism. He was always one of my favorites (I can say that now since I am no longer teaching!) The baptism was at 9 in West Jordan. It was really neat! He is such a good kid! I'm so glad he invited me and Jaclyn! My Aunt Debbie was here from Cali, so later that day we had a get-together and my Aunt Sherri Lu's house. Good times were held by all!

Sunday I had to teach my first lesson as a RELIEF SOCIETY teacher!!!!!! I was SOOOOOOO nervous! I was hoping for something like PRIMARY, but NOOO I got Relief Society! After the tear-jerking lesson on Eternal Families, I headed to a cousins Bridal Shower! Again, great food and company! Then to my parents for dinner and fun! That is where we had to say good-bye to Aunt Debs! We had so much fun and we will definitely miss her!
