So I have to tell you a funny story of sorts. Last Wednesday was the first day of Parent/Teacher Conferences. I wanted to look nice, but don't have a whole lot that fits me right now. So I wore the only prego skirt I have. I tried on 10 different shirts that made me look like a blob, and finally decided on one despite the "frumpiness". It was one of those days where I was really feeling crappy about the way I looked and did not feel like facing 15 parents. Oh well. Life will go on. I headed to school, had a normal day, then after school had gotten out, Jaclyn and I were in the office talking to Terry. Another co-worker, who shall remain unnamed, walked into the office. Here is our convo:
Unnamed: I didn't know you were pregnant until today!
Me: Yup, I sure am!
U: When are you due?
M: March
U: Ya, I was thinking, "Hmmm, that girl sure dresses frumpy!"
M: Blank stare of disgust, ya well, I'm pregnant. (Turn away.)
Unnamed walks out. I turned to Jaclyn and Terry and asked, "Did you just hear that?!"
Lucky for the unnamed I am able to handle things with humor and laugh it off! It is now the joke of the school and I am known as Mrs. F for frumpy, not Foust!!
Seriously, what in the world was she thinking? Any normal woman knows that you do not say that to a woman, especially a pregnant woman!!!! What woman feels great about her body becoming distorted and fat? Just rub in the way I have to dress to be comfortable!!!
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving! I love this holiday!

What's in a name?!
Ok, so for those of you who don't know, we have decided on a name! We actually decided a while ago. We could not agree for a while, so I thought we would be one of those couples in the hospital still trying to agree! But I was wrong! Anyway, our baby's name will be Lilly Belle Foust (someone asked me the other day what her last name was, thought I'd specify!) Anyway, so before we went to Disneyland, I told my sister and she informed me that was the name of Walt Disney's wife! Who knew?! Walt Disney had a special boxcar made called the "Lilly Belle". This boxcar is only used for very special people. We thought since this was the year of "One Million Dreams", that we would just ask if we could see it. We asked the conductor of the train if we could just take a look at the boxcar and explained why. She said of course!!!! She even let us go inside! She told us if we came back later we could go for a ride in it, but there was a chance of rain and they had to put the boxcar away! :( Anyway, here are some dorky pictures of me with the train! We joked that we looked like Mormon moms with our levi capris, socks, and tennis shoes!! Oh well, I guess if the shoe fits...

California
This is a little late, but we had a great time in Cali, and I just wanted to post a little about it. I went with my sister, Andrea, and my cousin, Emmie. We stayed with our Aunt Debbie and Uncle Mike. Thanks to all for a FABULOUS time!
Disneyland is all decorated for Halloween. The Haunted Mansion was done in the Nightmare Before Christmas. It is amazing to see what they were able to do! Disneyland is truly a magical place!! This was the perfect time to go. We barely had to wait in any lines! It was great! When we went back to the hotel after our first day at Disney, each of our favorite Disney characters left a letter on our beds with several treasures! I am going to post the itinerary that my aunt had for us on our beds (along with an awesome bag filled with treasures!), so the post won't be so long and boring. It will be summed up for you.

Halloween
Since my class is off -track for Halloween, we had a Halloween party for the kids the day we went off-track. It was a lot of fun. We all dressed up, played games, made a fun craft, and ate cookies. I can't post pictures of my students, but here is picture of Jaclyn (another 1st grade teacher & my best friend) and me. My kids were a little freaked out at my costume!! I was just letting my true colors come out!!
Saturday night we went to a friend's Halloween party. Trevor and I dressed up as Frankenstein and Frankenstein's Bride. My mom came over and helped me get ready, thanks mom, I couldn't have done it without you! Trevor was being a party pooper and wouldn't let us do his make up, so he did his own. I did his hair, which turned out well for a freshly shaved head!! We won the contest for the Scariest costume!! Go us! For some reason I have always wanted to dress up like this, so on Wednesday my mom and I went shopping ALL day to get stuff for my costume! (We got stuff for her costume, too, but that was the easy part!) Thanks again, mom, for helping my costume dream come true!!!!

Acceptance...
This week I have accepted a few things. I have accepted a new calling in my church. I am the Relief Society Publicist! Which basically means that when we have Enrichment activities (activities every so often for the women in our ward), I get to make signs, fliers, announcements, etc. I can't say I'm totally excited, but I know I need to be!!
I've accepted that my due date has been changed to March 14th! The ultrasound tech said it would be changed, but I really did not like her, therefore did not want to listen to her! I had my doctor's appt. on Friday and he confirmed it! Ok, ok, fine!
The other thing I have accepted is that we have had our first Bountiful snow!!! We woke up this morning to 6-7 inches of snow!!! Where did Fall go? I did not even get to enjoy the beautiful Fall leaves. I hope the snow melts and we will be able to see a little bit of the leaves! I guess we don't have to rake the leaves!! Here is a picture of the lovely snow (I really do think freshly fallen snow is beautiful, just not for a few more weeks...). This picture was taken in the afternoon, so some of the snow has melted.
Have a good week! It is a 3 day week for me and I go off track for 3 1/2 weeks and got to Cali for 1 week! I guess I can accept that as well...

Advice...
I guess SUGGESTIONS would be a better word for it!!! So I have been shopping around for baby stuff and have several questions. I figured I would make a post and ask what others recommend. I want to know what you would strongly recommend I get, what you can't live without, and even what I should not waste my time getting. Also, if there are any particular brands you have found that are not worth the money, or that I should definitely look into. Thanks! I appreciate the help!

It's a....
Girl!! I had my ultrasound yesterday and it was soooo neat! It was so amazing to see the baby move! We saw the legs moving and the arms too! The lady kept trying to get a picture of the face and the baby kept putting her hand in front of her face! I guess she is camera shy like her mom!! We have 10 pictures and I will post them all! Sorry! The lady was not able to get a profile picture of the baby! Oh well! Bring on the pink and let the shopping begin!!!!

The Dr.
So I went to the Dr.'s today, and after we waited for an hour, we were able to see the dr. for 10 minutes!! Gotta love that!! We were able to hear the heartbeat! It was really neat! It's really real!! I am 14 weeks and 1 day pregnant!! He also told me that on my next appointment, we could do the ultrasound!! So October 3rd is the big day!! They give us a cd with the pictures on it, so I will be able to post the pictures on here! So you know to check back on the night of the 3rd! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend!

My life in a nutshell!
Sorry it has, once again, been so long! I feel that I have nothing to blog about! I just thought I would do a general update! I started teaching first grade again about 3 weeks ago. It has been a roller coaster! I started a blog for the parents to read, which is why when I sometimes make comments it says Mrs. Foust! That's just me in teacher mode! I'm too lazy to log out and sign back in!!
I go to the dr. on Friday, so I will post again shortly! I have been feeling a little sick here and there, but nothing too bad, yet. My pants are starting to get a little tighter! I still have too pee more than I would like! And I feel like I am eating ALL of the time! I told my students that I am pregnant, and they couldn't be happier! I wish I had their reactions on video, it was pretty cute! They all want to help me name the baby and have given several suggestions!!
Over Labor Day weekend we went up to Sherwood Hills in Sardine Canyon. We went with Trevor's extended family. It was a lot of fun! We ate food, went swimming, went bowling, ate at the Bluebird Restaurant in Logan (SOOOOO YUMMY!!), went to Aggie Ice Cream, had a yummy bbq, went swimming and did a midnight Wendy's run! Only Wendy's was closed so we went to Burger King. I have not done that since my single days in college!! No wonder where the freshman 15 came from!?!?! To my sister-in-laws, I apologize for the craziness! Now you know why I have never touched the alcohol!!! All in all, it was a fun weekend, even though it was filled with rain!! And P.S., when we went bowling, guess who won out of all 25 of us?!?! That's right, yours truly, ME!! I bowled a 145, beating Trevor's uncle by 2 points!! Everyone else was blown out of the water!!

BABY FOUST
Ok, ok, I will let you all in on the details (few that I know)! We just found out 2 weeks ago that I am pregnant! We couldn't wait to tell everyone, so we only kept it in for about 1 week!! I am 8 weeks along and the tentative due date is March 7. I actually have not gone to the doctor yet. I will next week. One of our bedrooms upstairs that has remained empty, because we were going to knock down the wall and create a master suite, is painted purple and has a princess light switch on it. So needless to say, we need to have a girl!!! I am a little nervous, but mostly excited! I have spent many hours shopping online for baby furniture (haven't bought anything, just getting ideas!!) I have felt nauseated, am very tired, can't sleep at night, and have very sore joints! Other than that, things are great!! I will post more details as they come!!

7 Days...
6 Now, you idiot!!! (That was an inside joke for my dear friends Carrie and Amanda). For the rest of you, that is how many days until we move!!!!!!!!!!!! We signed the papers for our new house in Bountiful today! I have been waiting to post until it was officially official! For those of you who don't know, we bought a rambler in Bountiful. It's an older home, which we weren't going to go for this time, but fell in love anyway! It has 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a 2 car GARAGE, hardwood floors, 2 fireplaces, etc. If you can't tell, I am excited!! We have been renting for 1 year too long! We are going to St. George this weekend, and are moving on Monday after work! It will be a long day, but well worth it!! We will have to have an open house and invite ya'll over! I'll have to post pictures next week. Oh, and the backyard is not landscaped, which is perfect for our dogs! They will love it! This will be the first time they won't have to live in a dog run! They will have free reign in the backyard until we landscape!

Connor Benjamin
Trevor's little sister, Kimberly, finally had her baby on Friday around 9:45 p.m. He weighed 7lbs. 10 oz. and is 20 inches long. We went and saw him (and mom) at the hospital on Saturday. They came home on Sunday and we were able to spend a little time with them for Father's Day. He is so cute!! He definitely looks like a Foust baby! Here are some cute little pictures of him.
